The 500 square metre space spans two floors and centres around a customer presentation lounge.
Features at the new Watford showroom include demonstration products from leading systems houses, Sapa, SMART and Cortizo.
This represents a substantial investment by A Plus which took the decision, pre-pandemic to provide its customers with a large, flexible space showcasing a wide choice of aluminium fenestration products, including sliding and inline folding doors, and flush casement and tilt before turn windows.
Jon Palethorpe, joint managing director, A Plus Aluminium, said: “Having made the bold decision to stick with our pre-pandemic strategy, I am extremely pleased with the new showroom. It offers us tremendous potential.
“It will give our sales staff a chance to build closer relationships with our customers, and in turn, their clients. Our enviable location also means we will attract more customers from the City and be accessible to a greater number of decision makers.”
Entrance is by appointment only. This means that customers of A Plus benefit from exclusive use, treating the space as their own. This is extremely valuable for customers without a showroom. Architectural glazing specialist, Bauxite is one such business.
Andy Barracliffe, general manager of Bauxite and his team have been using the showroom for several months, as restrictions have eased.
“With no showroom of our own, the A Plus studio is invaluable,” says Andy. “It allows us to show clients the full product range, with doors that slide and windows that open!
“Having worked with London-based architects and surveyors for many years we appreciate their requirements. They wish to understand the technical details and enjoy the ergonomics and aesthetics of a product, especially when making a comparison. It is something that they are more than willing to travel for, particularly when acting on behalf of larger, more prestigious clients.”
