A Plus Aluminium Launches Trade Stock Service

A Plus Aluminium is pleased to announce the launch of its upgraded residential trade stock service which supports fast lead times and lower costs on eight window and door products.

The products are – Crown 98 and 120 Sliding Doors, PlusGlide 47 Sliding Door, Crown Hinged Door, our Bi-folding Doors, Crown Casement (75) including the Flush option, and Heritage windows and doors.

Most of the stock products are available in four colour options – anthracite, white, black and white/anthracite. The offer is for a dedicated range of profiles only.

The specialist trade fabricator has launched the service to support its trade residential customers in meeting increasing consumer demand for high-quality aluminium windows and doors, quickly.

Dedicated manufacturing facility
The stocked products are manufactured at the company’s manufacturing and storage facility in Sandy, Bedfordshire, which opened last year as part of a long-term, strategic investment plan. These additional premises have enabled A Plus to increase capacity and capitalise on consumer interest in aluminium.

Unlike the A Plus headquarters in Watford which now services mainly the company’s commercial projects and customers, the Sandy factory manufactures aluminium window and door products specifically for trade residential customers.

Reliable and quick supply
Speaking of the new initiative, joint managing director of A Plus Aluminium, Jon Palethorpe said:

“Our new stock service gives our trade residential customers a reliable and quick supply of windows and sliding and bi-fold doors, which, in turn, allows them to respond to consumer demand effectively and efficiently with a high-quality product.

“We can commit all three CNC machines at Sandy to producing products for the residential market, without interruption. And we have invested in substantial stock holding which means we can offer a fast turnaround and low lead times.

Streamlined ordering.
To assist its customers further, A Plus has produced specific stock order forms and profile charts showing the sections available. The order process is more streamlined and benefits from a new online pricing facility. This enables the company’s trade accounts to price and order direct with A Plus, thereby speeding up and simplifying the entire process.
